What if I already have a bookkeeper and CPA?
We are built to fill the gaps in our clients' finance departments. If your existing team isn't cutting it anymore, then we can take this over in full. However, if you are happy with your existing team, then we can easily work with them and primarily focus on the CFO strategy. You only pay for what you use us for.
When will I start to see an ROI?
Here's my promise to you: you will get a real ROI in the first week. Because we are agency specialists, we know where all the skeletons are hidden and where all the low-hanging fruit hangs. This is what we uncover in the first week.
After that: you will have real visibility over clean numbers in the first month. A beautiful and live dashboard including margins, client profit, receivables and cash within 60 days. And a tangible actions have been taking to drive your profits up within 90 days.
How much time will this take from me or my team?
We are built to save you and your team time, as we will do all the heavy lifting and implement our automated processes for tasks like billing, categorisations and data tracking.
However, on average, we require around 2 hours per week in the first month for calls and to answer our questions. This typically scales down to max 1 hour per week afterwards, mainly to join our calls and have strategic chats.
You will still stay in the lead to approve big decisions and set the strategy.
What size should my business be for this to make sense?
We have clients ranging from $50K/mo all the way to $1M/mo. Finance is relevant at all stages, to varying degrees. Based on our prices and ROI calculations, we have found that from $100K/mo the CFO package is justifiable from a $ point of view, before even taking the time saving and mental peace of mind into account.
How much support will I get?
As much as you need. This is not a "program" or "coaching service" where you go through the steps. We are a real part of your business, and can answer any and all questions you need.
Am I locked in a long-term contract?
No, depending on your scope, we may require a 90-day initial agreement, but always work month-to-month.
Where is your team based?
We are a global team with our CFO's and leaders based in US, UK, Europe, and a bookkeeping team based in South Africa. We are specialised in the US market and have local partners for tax.

Started AgenCFO in 2023, continues to serve as CFO for several of his founding clients. Former Associate at Standard Chartered London, and holds a MSc in Finance.
Responsible for operations and the financial models. Previously worked in Equity Research at Credit Suisse and Real Estate Investment at CBRE IM.
Thomas has a Masters Degree in Quantitative Finance and has years of experience as an independent trader. Thomas joined the AgenCFO team in 2024.

Patrick is a seasoned finance professional with real ecommerce DNA. Having worked at Adidas and within the ecommerce world, he understands the financial pressures and opportunities that come with scaling product-based businesses.

Tarryn brings 15 years of accounting experience to the AgenCFO team, backed by a degree in Finance & Accounting. Based in South Africa, she specialises in bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Our origin goes back to the pandemic when Joey started helping his family’s business solve some of the lockdown-related financial challenges they faced. The banking-level expertise proved of value, and AgenCFO was born. Since then we’ve helped 50+ agency and ecom brands scale, and played key roles in successful exits and mergers.
