The Opportunity

We're looking for a detail-focused, reliable bookkeeping professional to join our team as a Bookkeeping & AR/AP Specialist.

This isn't your traditional in-house bookkeeper role – you'll work alongside our team to serve multiple agencies, each with unique accounting needs and requirements.

You'll handle essential financial record-keeping while ensuring accurate accounts receivable and payable management.

You'll have the chance to make a direct impact on agency operations while building expertise in the space.

Required Experience

- 3+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience (agency or service business preferred)

- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills - you should be comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling

- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)

- Strong attention to detail - errors in financial data can be costly

- Excellent written English for client communications

You're skilled with both QuickBooks and Xero software, and can easily use both platforms to handle bookkeeping, create reports, and manage financial tasks for different clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Weekly Financial Categorization: Accurately categorize transactions and maintain clean books for multiple agency clients

- Monthly Reconciliations: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations ensuring all accounts balance perfectly

- Financial Model Management: Input P&L data and update dynamic financial models that drive client decision-making

- Client Reporting: Write clear, actionable weekly financial updates that agency owners actually want to read

- Invoicing & AR Management: Calculate billable amounts, generate invoices, and manage the full accounts receivable cycle

- Data Analysis: Spot trends, identify discrepancies, and provide insights that help agencies improve their financial performance

Contract Terms

- Remote position with hours aligned to Europe / Dubai time zones.

- Starting at $1,300 per month depending on experience and efficiency.

- This is a full-time position, with an expectation to work with us exclusively. While you'll support multiple agencies within your portfolio, your full professional focus will be on working with AgenCFO.

- We always begin with a two-week trial period to see if it will be a good fit.

The Right Person Will:

- Take ownership of client accounts and proactively identify issues before they become problems

- Ask clarifying questions when something doesn't look right rather than making assumptions

- Suggest process improvements - we want someone who makes our systems better

- Communicate directly and professionally with both our team and clients

- Work independently while keeping the team informed of progress and challenges
